Accumulation Conveyors

Accumulation Conveyor Classification

A conveyor system is classified as an “accumulation conveyor” when unit loads are allowed to stop or “collect at will” on the conveyor.

This is accomplished by defining specific zones, or sections, along the conveyor to allow maximum density of accumulated products with no chance of product damage.
